L7.1. Essay deliverables

At the this period of the programme participants are required to submit and present a compulsory essay, working in groups or individually, about the application of the model.

 

The essay includes the following deliverables:

 

  1. Description of the service to be evaluated (20%).

    • The criteria for evaluation of the deliverable is clarity and completeness regarding the following:

      • Description of the service environment,

      • Stakeholders and organizational units,

      • Systems participating in service provision,

      • Description of data flows based on interoperability needs between other bodies and systems,

      • Potential use of the service by other bodies,

      • Legal framework governing the operation of the service,

      • Points where it is estimated that an improvement is needed

         

  2. Submission of a final version of the IMM questionnaire with the corresponding answers (40%). The process of preparing the answers to the IMM questionnaire involves the active participation of working group members in the distance learning platform asking questions - clarifications or providing answers other participants’ questions. Active distance learning platform can be taken into account in the evaluation of the essay. Furthermore:

    • The evaluation criteria of the specific deliverable is clarity and completeness regarding the following:

      • Provide correct answers based on sources of information used,

      • Identify additional resources and information necessary for the proper completion of the questionnaire where it is not possible to provide the answers,

      • Identify and justify the questions that are not applicable to this service or were unable to answer.

         

  3. Provide IMM improvement suggestions and conclusions (20%)

    • The evaluation criteria of the specific deliverable is clarity and completeness regarding the following:

      • Introduction of key findings and their comparison with the initial estimated results,

      • Justification of deviation from initial estimates,

      • Description of difficulties encountered in the implementation of the model and how these were overcome,

      • Proposals to adapt the model based on the specific application needs.

      • Indicative proposals to improve the maturity level.

         

  4. Submission and presentation of the essay summarizing the above (20%).

    • The evaluation criteria of the specific deliverable is clarity and completeness regarding the following:

      • e-Service,

      • Answers to IMM questionnaire,

      • Difficulties and techniques for dealing with the implementation of the model,

      • Results,

      • Proposals to improve the maturity level for the specific e-service

      • Proposals to improve the model
