L7.1. Essay deliverables
At the this period of the programme participants are required to submit and present a compulsory essay, working in groups or individually, about the application of the model.
The essay includes the following deliverables:

Description of the service to be evaluated (20%).

The criteria for evaluation of the deliverable is clarity and completeness regarding the following:

Description of the service environment,
-
Stakeholders and organizational units,
-
Systems participating in service provision,
-
Description of data flows based on interoperability needs between other bodies and systems,
-
Potential use of the service by other bodies,
-
Legal framework governing the operation of the service,
-
Points where it is estimated that an improvement is needed

Submission of a final version of the IMM questionnaire with the corresponding answers (40%). The process of preparing the answers to the IMM questionnaire involves the active participation of working group members in the distance learning platform asking questions - clarifications or providing answers other participants’ questions. Active distance learning platform can be taken into account in the evaluation of the essay. Furthermore:

The evaluation criteria of the specific deliverable is clarity and completeness regarding the following:

Provide correct answers based on sources of information used,
-
Identify additional resources and information necessary for the proper completion of the questionnaire where it is not possible to provide the answers,
-
Identify and justify the questions that are not applicable to this service or were unable to answer.

Provide IMM improvement suggestions and conclusions (20%)

The evaluation criteria of the specific deliverable is clarity and completeness regarding the following:

Introduction of key findings and their comparison with the initial estimated results,

Justification of deviation from initial estimates,
-
Description of difficulties encountered in the implementation of the model and how these were overcome,
-
Proposals to adapt the model based on the specific application needs.

Indicative proposals to improve the maturity level.

Submission and presentation of the essay summarizing the above (20%).
